Weather Station Support

Contract Start and End: November 2021 - 6 Month Contract with possibility to extend.
Hours: 30-35/week @ $18/hr, will include Saturdays

Needed Skills or Qualifications:
• Compassion
• Organized
• Self-motivated
• Safe food handling certificate is of benefit
• Drivers license an asset
• Flexibility to meet the changing demands of Covid 19

Main Responsibilities
The person in this role will be responsible for the day to day running of the Weather Station, a program that provides safe space out of the elements to those who struggle with housing.
They will work with staff and volunteers to make sure all Covid protocols are being kept, and that the space is kept up to Public Health guidelines.
Other responsibilities will include:

Leadership to Volunteer Team
Food Preparation
Cleaning and Sanitization
Packing and Plating Meals
Stocking and Organizing Food Stuffs
Picking up Donations and Supplies
